About Us

Thank God, they were an instant hit with the Longwood Medical area staff and visitors, as well as with the rest of the city. Over the years, our  Children’s Hospital location became a Boston landmark.  24 hours a day, 7days a week, customers 40-50 at a time, would actually line up for our Roll-Ups. To the best of my knowledge, no one was serving Roll-Ups/Wraps in those days. I believe that we were the first to do so.

Over the years, we have been very fortunate to gather many awards from places such as: The Boston Globe Calendar Magazine, The Phoenix, Cheap Eats, “Best Of Boston”, Pat Whitley Show,  Boston Journal, The Phantom Gourmet, Zagat’s Restaurant Guide, and more… However, the most satisfying reward of them all, is the fact that most of our customers from 20 years ago are still our customers today. Please give us the opportunity to impress you.

Thank you,

Sami Saba Jr.

Sami’s is an award winning, Lebanese style, Mediterranean food establishment. We offer a wide variety of  Lamb, Beef, Fish and Chicken dishes, as well as many vegetarian choices.

Our foods are delicious, nutritious and healthy. We do not use preservatives, grease, MSG or fat in our cooking. Our quality is Superb and our prices are in line, or even better than any sub shop, Chinese Restaurant, Pizza Parlor, Fried Chicken place, or Fast Food outfit.

Sami’s was established in 1979 when my Mom and Dad bought a catering truck. They used to stay up most of the night to cook the food at our house in Roslindale. Then in the morning they would load the food on the truck, and drive to Longwood Avenue, in Boston to sell it.

It was not easy growing up in that house, but we managed.  We had refrigerators in the living room, equipment in the kitchen, and one of the bedrooms was used for storage.
